Total PCT miles 2155.1 – Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks
This morning, my mom dropped Gabriel and me off at the Char Burger. Thanks Mom! We crossed the Bridge of the Gods and entered Washington. A little over 500 miles and about 3 weeks to go.
The Labor Day weekend heat wave persists with highs in the 80s and 90s around the Columbia River Gorge. We’d never have thought that our hottest days on the trail would be in Washington, but that seems to be the case. Go figure that we had snow near Palm Springs and rain over the Mojave! We’ll take the sunshine now, even if it is accompanied by hot hiking temps.
