Where are you hiking?
From south to north, the Continental Divide Trail spans the mountains of western New Mexico and central Colorado. It crosses the Great Divide Basin of southwestern Wyoming as it winds into the Winds before heading into Yellowstone. It grazes the Salmon and Bitterroot National Forests of Idaho. It travels through Montana on the eastern flank of the Canadian Rockies.
